MAY/JUNE
MAY AND JUNE UPDATE: Greetings, Kinkatopia!
It’s been another great couple of months at Kinkatopia! I am continuously blown away by the generosity and involvement of our community. Thank you to everyone!
MAY/JUNE
The Chloe saga continues. I took her to a different vet for a second opinion and a new treatment plan. She is finally eating again and is in the midst of a course of long-term antibiotics. I also moved her outdoors to a more suitable enclosure. She appears to be improving, more will be revealed. Thank you for all the support and generous donations.
Kinky has been settling in. He has grown more outgoing and comfortable in his surroundings. I am so pleased with how well he is acclimating. We recently finished an outdoor enclosure that is meant for Kinky; he will be moving into it in early July.
Thank you for the wonderful donations of supplies and fruit! It’s incredible to see such community involvement. A shout out to our kinkajou sponsors as well — you guys are awesome! We cannot do it without you all!
We filmed with 60 Second Docs Animal Style, and they released the mini doc about our organization. This is a huge blessing. Keep an eye out for the video, it’s pinned on our Facebook page. Keep sharing — let’s get our mission out into the world!
I love seeing everyone wearing their Kinkatopia shirts and hoodies. Lookin’ good!
Kinkatopia has started #kinkajouinfo on Instagram. This hashtag has great information on kinkajous. Check is out and if there’s more you’d like to know or suggestions on info to produce, let me know.
We have diet and enrichment PDFs I am happy to forward via email.
Trashcan celebrated her one-year anniversary at Kinkatopia!
Big thank you to Chris Sears Rodriguez of TRIED and True Tattoos, in Victoria, Texas!!! She raised over $1,600 for Kinkatopia, and we were able to have Kinky’s outdoor enclosure built.
I continue to write Kinkatopia-related articles for Reach Out Recovery. Please follow along.
Michelle Martiya of Essential Animal Training has officially joined our board of directors as our Director of Animal Management and Training. Welcome — officially — Michelle!

Remember that we board kinkajous! Summer is here … when you schedule your vacations, make sure to schedule your kinkajou’s stay with Kinkatopia. It’s a great peace of mind for you and I love doing it!
WAYS TO SUPPORT
Kinkatopia has may ways to support our cause — not just directly, but indirectly as well.
1) We accept monetary donations in many ways: PayPal, GoFundMe, Venmo, CashApp, Facebook, ApplyPay, check, and other basic forms of money exchange. Also, most of the above companies recognize Kinkatopia as a charity (if they provide that feature) and you can donate that way as well.
2) The Kinkatopia Amazon Supply List can be accessed here This is a new way to support Kinkatopia! You can do this on Amazon or for a double win, on AmazonSmile. Donations will be mailed directly to Kinkatopia and Amazon provides you with a receipt for tax time. If you don’t feel comfortable donating funds, this is a great way to help us get supplies.
3) We are on AmazonSmile! Go to amazonsmile.com to make your Amazon purchases and they will donate a percentage to Kinkatopia! We should be receiving our first quarterly payout in February.
4) As mentioned earlier, Arm the Animals will donate to us! Purchasing from armtheanimals.com and using the code “Kinkatopia” will donate 20% of your order to the kinkajous!
5) LOCAL SUPPLY DONATIONS — We are always in need of particular items: newspaper, used furniture, cat trees, cut tree branches, etc.
6) “Like” and share on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
7) Check out my articles on Reach Out Recovery! Please follow, like, and share. This platform can help us raise more awareness for Kinkatopia! There are nuggets in these posts that everyone can enjoy.
8) Instagram now offers the ability to hold fundraisers via a donation sticker on your IG stories. Help out Kinkatopia by holding your own personalized IG fundraiser!
All donations are tax deductible and receive a thank-you painting by a Kinkatopia kinkajou.
Thank you to everyone for your continued involvement and support. Take care!!
Peace, love, and kinkajous.
